More Than an Introduction to A Course in Miracles

"More Than An Intro" is an 8-week introductory course providing a solid foundation for understanding A Course In Miracles. Whether you’re new to the Course, curious about it, or an experienced student looking to deepen your understanding and your relationship with the Course, More Than An Intro will provide:
  • A solid foundation for understanding ACIM
  • An appreciation of the practical nature of this path of spiritual awakening
  • An understanding of the transformative teachings of the Course and the powerful effects they can have on your life and relationships
Each class will be about 2 hours, with time for teaching and for discussion. We will cover:​
  1. The background of ACIM - the story of how A Course In Miracles came to be
  2. The main characters in ACIM - who they are and what their roles are 
  3. Basic terms in ACIM 
  4. The ACIM Introduction - what the Course says about itself and what it teaches 
  5. Two ways of operating in the world: Anger and Attack Cycle  
  6. Two ways of operating in the world: Forgiveness Cycle 
  7. The spiritual practice of the Course 
  8. ​The Course as a complete spiritual path and program - what it entails; the benefits, purpose, and goals and how we reach them; the three aspects of the Course
