Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses light touch to assist the whole body in moving towards a state of wellness. The craniosacral system extends from the skull (cranium) down to the tailbone (sacrum) and consists of the soft tissues and fluid that surround and protect your brain and spinal cord. Releasing restrictions in the craniosacral system can help to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and your body as a whole.

What can you expect during a CST session?
You will remain clothed, so be sure to wear comfortable clothing. You will lay on a traditional massage table on your back (accommodations may be made if this is an uncomfortable position for you.) The CST practitioner will gently hold certain areas of the body, often with one hand on top and one hand underneath your body. These gentle holds can assist the body in releasing areas of restriction that cause imbalance in the body.
