COVID-19 Safety

CT Covid-19 Prevention badge (self-certify)
During this time of the COVID-19 health crisis, it is very important to me to protect, to the best of my ability, myself as a therapist, all of my clients, as well as my family. This can only be done through a collaborative effort on all our parts.

Based on recommendations from the state of CT, the CDC, and professional massage therapy organizations (like ABMP and FSMTB), I have implemented some procedures and guidelines for ensuring your visit is as safe as possible. Please be sure to read the following information and reach out to me if you have any questions.

COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER, 2022
Due to the close nature of our work together, I continue to wear a mask while I'm working on clients. I encourage you to wear a mask if it is comfortable for you, but I do not require it. However, I do ask that you please
  • wear a mask if you've traveled recently or have been in a situation which may have increased your risk of exposure 
  • reschedule your appointment if you are having ANY symptoms of feeling unwell or if you've had direct contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns about Covid safety.
What you can expect from me...
  • I am fully vaccinated, including boosters
  • I continue to wear a mask during all sessions, regardless of the client's vaccination status
  • I will assess my own health and be transparent with you regarding symptoms/exposure and the need to reschedule if necessary
  • I continue to run an air purifier during sessions, as well as maintain my safety protocols for cleaning, sanitizing, and airing out the treatment room between clients

What I ask of you...​
  • While I am not requiring clients to wear a mask, I do ask that you wear one during your visit if you've recently been in a situation that may have increased your risk of exposure (including recent travel)
  • ​Reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of feeling unwell, even if you believe it’s not COVID-19
  • Reschedule your appointment if you have had direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, whether or not you are experiencing symptoms

I will continue to waive my late cancellation fees if you are feeling unwell in any way, experiencing any signs/symptoms of COVID-19​, and if you find out you have been exposed to the virus

These policies are entirely at my discretion and may change based on CDC and state of CT guidelines.
