Distance Healing Facilitation is a way to connect and receive support for self-growth, healing, and overall well-being during times when distance, life circumstances, or personal preference do not allow for in-person sessions or physical touch. Even though this work is done over a distance (via Zoom), it is truly a process of embodiment.
Embodiment is the practice of attending to the physical sensations you are feeling in your body and using this awareness to cultivate a sense of trust in your body’s own innate healing potential. This is a collaborative process. Together, we track sensations you are experiencing in the moment and attend to those sensations using presence, intention, discussion, and “energetic hands on”.
With this approach, the session can begin to feel similar to an in-person craniosacral therapy or reiki session. This is not counseling or psychotherapy. It is body-centered work, meaning we are tuning into your body and supporting (or facilitating) its ability to calm and settle, allowing it to naturally shift into a supportive space of rest and repair.

What you can expect during a Distance Healing Facilitation session...
Each session is 60-minutes long. I will email you the Zoom meeting link the day of your session. You are encouraged to sit in a comfortable chair, feet flat on the floor, in a space free from distraction and interruption. If sitting is too uncomfortable for you, you can also lie down in a comfortable space. It’s best to wear comfortable, loose clothing. It is recommended that you use a headset or speaker placed near your head so we can hear one another clearly. Rest assured, these sessions are not recorded and are strictly confidential.
As with any type of therapeutic work, you are in control of the session. We follow where your body leads us and work together at your level of comfort. Your sense of comfort is of the utmost importance at all times, so it is important to speak up if any adjustments need to be made.

If we have not previously met or worked together in person, I will require an initial 20-30 minute meeting (via Zoom) at no charge to you. This is an opportunity for us to meet each other and for me to learn more about you and your needs/goals for working together. Please call or email me to schedule.
